Choose the frame first.
Then choose the lens.
The Sony 16mm, TTArtisan 25mm, and Meike 35mm do different jobs. Start with the view you need from your chair, then compare the lenses.

Three focal lengths on the same camera
| Lens | Framing from the same position | Focus | Check first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sony E 16mm F2.8 SEL16F28 | Widest view of these three; shows more room. | Autofocus and manual focus | Background and close camera distance |
| TTArtisan 25mm F2 | A narrower view than 16mm, wider than 35mm. | Manual | Sony E-mount version |
| Meike 35mm F1.7 | Tightest view of these three. | Manual | Space between seat and camera |
When manual focus helps
If the chair, camera, and subject stay in one place, setting focus once gives you a stable result without the camera searching for a different subject. Mark the chair position, focus on the eyes, and check at a large preview size. Record a test that includes your normal movement.
When it gets in the way
A manual lens will not refocus when you lean toward the screen, stand up, or hold a product near the camera. At a wide aperture, the sharp area can be quite narrow. Try a smaller aperture and adequate light if movement makes focus unreliable. For a moving subject, autofocus may be the easier option.
Will these fit the newer camera?
The a5100 and ZV-E10 II are Sony E-mount APS-C cameras. The Sony E-mount versions of these lenses are the appropriate mount/format combination. That does not give a manual lens autofocus, and a different mount version of the same lens name is not interchangeable. Check manufacturer compatibility details and the selected Amazon variation.
The C920s and Facecam MK.2 are fixed-lens webcams. None of these lenses attaches to them.
What the camera needs besides the body
A body-only listing needs a compatible lens before it can form an image. For streaming, check power, mounting, and video output too. HDMI setups need compatible capture hardware; a cable by itself does not turn HDMI into USB. The ZV-E10 II also supports USB streaming, with output depending on the selected settings, cable, and host connection.
