Help a new player join your regular group.
A newcomer should not need to decode the group chat before playing the first round.

Tell them what to install
Send the exact game edition and platform information. Mention paid access or a subscription if the session requires it. Check the current game documentation for cross-play and invite rules. A familiar name can refer to several editions with different multiplayer support.
Explain the few rules that matter now
Start with how to join, how voice chat works, and what the group is trying to do. Save advanced strategy for a relevant moment. Give the new player a way to ask for help privately if they prefer. “Just ask anything” is easier to say than to act on in a loud lobby.
Take care with voice and recording
Ask whether everyone is comfortable with a public stream or a saved voice recording. Do not treat presence in a voice channel as permission. Keep stream audio and team audio separate when the software supports it, and check the resulting recording before publication.
Rotate attention
Let people take different roles. Avoid making the newcomer the subject of every joke or the permanent learner. At the end, send the next invitation with the same practical details. Being invited back is a clearer welcome than a long speech.
